travelFlying into Rhode Island, you will arrive at T.F. Green Providence International Airport (PVD), which is about 27 miles from Newport. There are several ways to get from the airport to Newport, depending on your preference. You can rent a car. You can order an Uber of Lyft car. You can order a taxi. For example we looked at a quote from Uber and got a quote for $57 one-way. A taxi would cost somewhat more. Your cost may vary of course.

Newport attractions
As with all State Exec meetings, you'll have the afternoons free to yourselves. There are lots of things to do in Newport. You can visit the mansions along Bellevue Ave. You can shop at any of the many stores in town. There are beaches. There's the famous "Cliff Walk" - a hiking trail inbetween the sea and mansions. There are lots of pubs and restaurants. We recommend going to the website Discover Newport to learn more, HERE.
